In the next 17th of February, the General Management of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Community of Madrid in collaboration with the Energy Foundation of the Community of Madrid, is going to celebrate "Conference on Cogeneration in the Tertiary and Residential Sectors", that it will be celebrated in the Assembly Hall of the National Institute of Hygiene and Safety at Work, in Madrid.

The main goal of this technical session is to promote the co-generation systems that have achieved certain development in the Community of Madrid, essentially in the industrial sector, but which still have and important potential in the services and residential sectors. Through the co-generation systems, thermal and electrical energy is produced directly in the consumption points, which allows the users to use this heat and electricity for its buildings, providing the network the electrical energy that was leftover or not used, allowing energy efficiency improvement and reducing the environmental impact.
