Mid West Association RSES presents its annual educational conference |

The Mid West Association RSES, the world's leading ducation, training
and certification Association for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and
Refrigeration Professionals, will hold its annual educational conference on
March 2628, 2009 at the Clarion Meridian Hotel & Convention Center in
Oklahoma City and will be hosted by RSES Region Nine.
This three-day program
will start with an opening ceremony and a white elephant auction hosted by the
RSES Mid West Ladies Auxiliary. Friday will begin with training and testing
updates presented by Renee Tomlinson, RSES director of training and testing,
followed by an educationally packed day including: Jeff Storers presentation
on inverter technology as it applies to the heating, ventilation, air
conditioning and refrigeration industry; Stephen Spletzers presentation on
Arkema Foranes role in the refrigerant marketplace, the phase-out schedule on
R-22, the industry impact and transition strategies; the RSES Region Nine
annual board meeting; and testing opportunities.
The educational conference will conclude on Saturday
with a discussion led by Roger Hensley, CMS, on the importance of effective air
distribution systems, which has been North American Technician Excellence
recognized for continuing education hours toward renewing NATE certification; a
presentation on alternative refrigerants with emphasis on retrofits and the
available alternatives, by Nelson Pinero; and Bill Spohns discussion on testing
tools and instruments.
