The Board of Directors of the Radiant Panel Association (RPA),
a non-profit trade organization representing the radiant heating and cooling
industry with educational materials, courses and events, announced a temporary
replacement for Larry Drake, the
associations Executive Director for the past 15 years. Three-time association
president and current board member, Jeff Brennecke, will take a leave of
absence from his board role while he fulfills the liaison duties.
Drake's role with the RPA ends April 30, 2009, and
the search for a new full-time executive director has already begun.
Brennecke's interim role is intended to facilitate a smooth transition and
ensure that the board is well-equipped to assist and guide the new director.
"Larry's entrepreneurial skills and
passion for the radiant industry were instrumental in starting this
organization and keeping it strong and healthy", said Ted Lowe, RPA
president of the board, assuring that the organization will continue its
commitment to education and the advancement of radiant panel heating systems.
