RIDGID®,
a leading manufacturer of hand and power tools, that serve the rental,
plumbing, HVAC/R, utility, industrial, electrical, petroleum, institutional,
commercial and hardware markets,
launched the new RIDGID® Model 151-CSST cutter that is now
available for making clean and smooth cuts to CSST.
In order to bring technology and engineering
together, the tubing cutter 151-CSST is designed with floating nylon guide
wheels so that it runs on the corrugations of the track while cutting the
flexible gas tubing, and also utilizes the proven X-CEL feature of a larger,
ergonomic knob, which gives users a more firm grip that allows them to apply
more force to cut through tubing faster and easier.
The Model 151-CSST is unique in design
because of the nylon guide wheels that keep it on track so that it cuts quickly,
cleanly and smoothly. This minimizes rework due to inconsistent or jagged cuts
often made by other tubing cutter designs, said Larry
Feskanich, product manager of RIDGID.
