Energesis, an engineering company specialized in designing and managing big geothermal heating and cooling systems, is leading the project "Integral Energy Rehabilitation of Buildings" (RENER), whose main objective is to achieve energy rehabilitation of various buildings, increasing their energy efficiency by more than 30%, which would save, at a national level, a million tonnes of CO2.
Energesis will coordinate the working group, which consists of Energesis, Anclajes Grapamar, Innovatec Sensorización y Comunicación, IATSO (Innovación en Alta Tecnología Solar), Keraben, Nueva Tecnología Rehabilitación y Reformas SL and Ube Chemical Europe, along with Construction Technology Institute (AIDICO).
The RENERs project main goal is to study and classify the energy consumption of buildings with comprehensive energy-efficiency strategies to rehabilitate and update new and existing buildings, as well as the development of new building materials that improve the thermal envelope and decrease energy consumption of buildings.
