Energy efficiency and design in a single element, perfectly defines the newTrox multiservice chilled beam of TROX, called SMART BEAM, a collaboration with the renowned architect and designer Hadi Teherani, and that TROX Group has presented only a few days ago at the fair BAU 2011 in Munich.

The SMART BEAM, is composed of three elements: an envelope for air and water connectors, which are usually mounted into the wall, a central piece that includes the installations and a front cover plate that offer different combinations of design.

The new series DID-SB, already included in the product portfolio of the firm, is truly multifunctional, since that according to the needs of the building, it is possible to add sprinklers and detectors in the curved panel. With two direct and indirect illuminations, from the back of the plate, it offers a nice lighting.

Hadi Teherani, said about it: "Our goal was to integrate the air conditioning unit on the ceiling, conceiving an aesthetics unit with the rest of the room without appearing to be an additional element. As the beam is suspended from the ceiling, thanks to a smart exterior design that does not excel, but it integrates in a subtle way, almost invisible, with the rest of the ceiling surface. It is an element that integrates all the technology that can be installed on the ceiling of the facility; diffusers, lighting, sprinkler systems, sound systems, etc. Resulting in a more clean and simple ceiling that turns the air conditioning unit in a design element for the room".
