Interpreting Static Pressure Readings 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0  
Hi, I'm playing with the new Carrier Infinity controller and I see these values:

Fan Low: 700 cfm 0.12 static pressure
Fan Medium: 1010 cfm 0.24 static pressure
Fan High: 1475 cfm 0.53 static pressure

How do I interpret these static pressure numbers? Any good for a residential system?

Basic physics,

Static pressure = (cfm) squared.....double the cfm 700-1400 and static pressure 4x .12 to .53

Those are good readings for a residential system.
