AC Equipment 1 Year, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Dear Sirs,

I’m an end-user and I would like to buy one AC for my flat.
Could you please point out the aspects I should consider before acquiring AC equipment?

Thank you in advance for your time

Check a Good Brand,
Attention to the capacity of the AC, regarding the space that will work
Attention to the type of Heating Pump

Someone knows the relation between the area of Acclimatization and the equipment?
I believe that the measurement unit for the AC capacity is BTU.
What does BTU stands for?
Thank you all in advance

Dear HotIceberg,

I think that BTU means British Thermal Unit.
I’ve been searching in the internet and understood that:
The British thermal unit (BTU or Btu) is a unit of energy still used in the United States. It is also still occasionally encountered in the UK, in the context of older heating and cooling systems. In most other areas, it has been replaced by the SI unit of energy, the joule (J).
A Btu is defined as the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one pound avoirdupois of water by one degree Fahrenheit. As is the case with the calorie, several different definitions of the Btu exist, which are _base_d on different water temperatures and therefore vary by about 0.5%:
Regarding the relation between the area of Acclimatization and the equipment I really don’t know the answer to that question and hope that someone can respond.

Best Regards to you all
