AIRAL, an international association of
aluminium radiators manufacturers, has detected the practice of dumping in the
exports of some Chinese manufacturers.
During the investigations
it has carried out in European and extra European territory, severe illegalities
were uncovered in Chinese-made radiators. AIRAL acquired the said products by
itself in the the aforementioned territories and commissioned their analysis to
renown laboratories, establishing the counterfeiting of brands, patents and
quality and security certificates, the impossibility to identify its
manufacturer, and the use of noxius toxic materials (asbestos) strictly
forbidden by Community legislation.
With the cooperation of the High Commissioner for the Fight Against Counterfeiting,
AIRAL has presented a report to Milans Fiscal Police highlighting the presence
at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort of some Chinese manufacturers, emphasizing the
alleged illegal actions detected in the following countries: Poland, Romania,
Bulgaria, Ukraine and Russia. The authorities have confiscated the allegedly
false and containing asbestos material from the Chinese manufacturers stands. The
analysis requested by the organizer of the event have confirmed the presence of
asbestos in all analyzed products, which in some cases reaches a percentage in
the gaskets of 42%, reveals the associations press release. |
