The Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA) recently licensed and accredited Singapore based AFMA Technologies laboratory. AFMA Technologies’ role as a newly established AMCA International Independent Accredited Testing Laboratory in Singapore will provide a platform for the HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning) industry on air system related product certification specifically for air performance and sound ratings.

Going forward, AFMA plans to participate in green building requirements, utilizing the facilities for the verification of energy efficiency for ventilation and air-conditioning equipment. This will enhance the requirements of minimum environmental sustainability standards, ensuring the environmental quality and comfort is not compromised, reveals the association’s press release.
