ARBS 2010 Celebrates High Achievement PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 04 May 2010

ARBSThe Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services (ARBS) exhibition has wrapped up another successful event, with a record number of people through the door, a record number of seminars, and exhibitors still buzzing from the quantity and quality of visitors.

Carel managing director Kevin Marr commented that his visiting peers from the APAC region thought the exhibition was one of the most organised shows they had seen. “I didn’t think it would be possible to exceed the results of previous shows, but ARBS 2010 has been the most successful for us yet,” he said.

Exhibition manager Sue Falcke was ecstatic with the results, commenting that so many other exhibitions had felt the pressure of the global financial crisis, yet ARBS barely registered the economic downturn on its success radar. “This year’s exhibition had a major boost with our extensive seminar program featuring over 40 highly acclaimed speakers (…) Seminars and workshops on sustainability, energy efficiency and retrofitting were immensely popular, demonstrating that our industry is serious about its role in creating green buildings for tomorrow,” she said.

The next ARBS exhibition will be held in May 2012 at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre.
