ARBS announces call for papers for its 2010 ExhibitionWith climate change and energy efficiency in buildings front and centre of public and policy debate, next year’s Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services exhibition (ARBS 2010) will be a significant forum to highlight the latest trends in the HVAC&R industry. To be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia, from 12-14 April 2010, ARBS will demonstrate how the industry is taking a leadership role in the improvement of the energy performance of commercial and domestic buildings.

According to Sue Falcke, ARBS Exhibition Manager, next year’s Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services exhibition is particularly important given that building emissions total around 40 per cent of total global greenhouse gas emissions. “This is not just about more efficient air conditioning and heating, is also about improved indoor environment quality, saving water or making buildings greener”, Ms Falcke said.

Next year’s event will also feature an extensive three day seminar program, delivering a range of topics that address national industry issues, workshops and forums, along with more than 230 national and international exhibitors. Responses to the call for papers are due on 28 August, 2009.
