Organised by the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) and the Sustainable Innovation in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning network (SIRAC), the International Cold Chain Conference - Sustainability and the Cold Chain, will take place in Cambridge on March 29-31, 2010. Organisers are now inviting all to submit papers for the 2010 event due to September 15, 2009.
According to the events press release, the conference programme is expected to attract leading speakers, researchers and system designers from around the world. In addition, the programme will feature site visit, workshops, receptions and international commission meetings.
The two day conference will focus in various main topics and organisers encourage everyone who is interested to send papers on such themes as refrigerants and refrigeration in the future, energy efficiency, innovative equipment design, technologies for cold chain monitoring, food safety and microbiology, international distribution and developing countries, consumer trends in chilled and frozen products, quality in the cold chain, innovative storage and transport systems, non-food cold chains, among others. |
