Carrier University with the recent expansion of its sustainable solutions curriculum has been named a U.S. Green Building Council Education Provider (USGBC EP). To earn this status, Carrier Universitys course materials were reviewed by a panel of USGBC peers and deemed to provide the high level of quality required for training Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) professionals.
The first course Carrier will offer as a USGBC Education Provider will be Designing HVAC Systems to Optimize LEED® Points, which will be held during a U.S. Sustainability Symposium training tour designed specifically for consulting engineers, design-build contractors and facility managers. Carriers Sustainability Symposiums offer a series of workshops that educate participants on the most current topics of green building and sustainable design and its impact on the selection and design of building systems. Successful completion of each course earns continuing education hours (CEHs) which count toward the Green Building Certification Institutes (GBCI) Professional Development Continuing Education Class requirements for credential maintenance.
