Cold Chain and Sustainability ConferenceA total of nearly 90 papers from over 20 different countries will be given at the 1st IIR Cold Chain & Sustainability Conference 2010 to be held in Cambridge, UK on 29-31st March 2010. Up to 150 people are expected to take part from across the globe in this unique gathering which will focus not just on developments in the cold chain, but also in the latest in refrigeration and air conditioning sustainability. In addition the programme features six short courses and technical tours.

 

Keynote speakers appearing at the UK conference include Professor Don Cleland of Massey University, New Zealand, a recognised expert in food preservation and the cold chain and Jacques Gilpart of Cemagraf, France who will focus on sustainability. Among others, the papers will focus on HFO refrigerants, temperature monitoring, storage and transportation, carbon dioxide applications, reducing energy consumption in transport, cold storage energy use, ground source heat exchangers, adsporption cycles, solar cooling and reducing waste.
