Organized by the European Division of Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), in partnership with the European Cold Storage and Logistics Association (ECSLA) and the Supply Chain Institute of Southeastern and Central Europe (SCISCE), Creating and expanding reliable and efficient regional cold supply chains is the theme of the international conference that will take place at the Radisson SAS hotel in Bucharest, Romania on September 21-22.
The program features plenary sessions on strategic and operational issues, like EU legislation that affects the industry, business challenges and opportunities in the region, trends and developments in material handling equipment. There will also be focus sessions on distribution & transportation, design & construction, warehousing & cold storage and refrigeration & refrigerants.
GCCA and partners want to change the lack of training, education and exchange of information in Central Europe in the years to come, by offering several platforms that will help to establish and grow national cold chain associations, benchmark companies, meet potential investors, learn from scientists and industry experts, network and, most importantly, receive practical hands-on information and best practice advice from successful international colleagues. |
