organizes the first European Heat Pump Summit, a new dialogue forum in
close cooperation with the honorary sponsors IEA-HPP, ehpa, bwp, DKV and IZW
that will take place in the
CongressCenter Nürnberg on 9-10 September. In the Conference’s first
edition, the topics will focus on heat pump technologies in the industrial,
commercial, residential, heating & cooling, and components & equipment
segments. The registration is open for the European Heat Pump Summit 2009 until
the July 2nd.
The main subjects of the European Heat Pump
Summit will focus, among others subjects, on renewable energies and their
potential to reduce the greenhouse gases effect. The importance of heat pumps
for the EU environmental targets and the possibilities, obstacles and
especially experiences relating to the use of heat pumps in industrial,
commercial and private applications will also be a main subject.
The event is intended to present innovative
systems for heating and cooling, such as VRF systems powered by gas or electric
motor, air-to-air heat pumps, small sorption heat pumps, combinations using
solar energy, and other processes, and show the possibilities and the specific
tasks of the industry in utilizing potentials for reducing greenhouse gases and
using renewable energy resources.
