FEGECA, the Association of Manufacturers of Domestic Hot Water Heat Generators and Emitters, has signed a framework agreement for the promotion of energy saving and efficiency in thermal plants with the Community of Madrid's Energy Foundation. The event took place in December and was attended by Mr Antonio Beteta Barreda, Minister of the Economy and Treasury, Mr Carlos López Jimeno, CEO of Industry, Energy and Mining and Mr Miguel Cervera Tuesta, President of FEGECA.

The Plan Renove for Condensing Boilers was launched by the Government of the Community of Madrid in order to help the Madrid Community to change to condensing boilers with a higher performance and efficiency than conventional devices. The plan is valid until the October 31^st 2010 or until its designated funds are exhausted.
