Over the past six months, the officers, members of Council and senior staff of the HVCA have been engaged in a wide-ranging exercise designed to update the HVCA Strategic Plan, to take into account the greatly changed economic circumstances in which members are now operating, and in which they are likely to continue to operate for some time to come.

The resulting document, entitled Responding to Change will provide an overall structure for the Association efforts, initiatives and activities over the next three years. The HVCA’s efforts on behalf of its members will be focused on four keys areas of action, including commercial recovery and risk management, employment relations and lifelong learning, environment, sustainability and energy use, and standards, competence and qualification.
