Prize winners included participants who attended at least three out of the four HVI-sponsored Green Ventilation Seminar Series presentations. Employees of McNutt Service Group in Arden, North Carolina, won eight out of the 29 total prizes. Five of their employees attended Comfortech specifically to participate in HVI’s ventilation seminars. “These seminars were very useful,” noted Tommy Wilson from McNutt Service Group. “I learned a great deal about how to improve our business operations and about information I wouldn’t have learned about other places, like ASHRAE 62.2.”

A variety of prizes, all HVI-Certified, were donated by several HVI member companies including Airex, AIRIA Brands, Air King, Broan-NuTone, Fantech, Heyoka Solutions, Imperial Air Technologies, Panasonic, RenewAire, Reversomatic, Soler & Palau, Soleus Air International, Trent Metals/Summeraire, Venmar Ventilation and Ventamatic. There were six prize categories – Bathroom Exhaust Fans, Heat Recovery Ventilators, Energy Recovery Ventilators, Inline Fans, Other Room Fans and Whole House Comfort Ventilators. This is the second year HVI sponsored the Ventilation Seminar Series presentations and the first year with a green theme, reveals the association’s press release.
