IDAE to host Conference on Power Consumption and Responsible Citizenship |

IDAE,
the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving,
will celebrate a Conference-Colloquium on Power Consumption and Responsible
Citizenship, on 30th April in Madrid, which will be hosted by Paul
C. Stern, Director of the Committee on the Human Dimensions of Global Change at
the U.S. National Research Council and Director of the National Research
Council of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
According to IDAE, the main
goal of the Conference is to present and to discuss opportunities to reduce the
total energy consumption, by modifying certain individual habits and making an
intelligent use of electric home appliances, of illumination and of air
conditioning systems, and by acquiring more efficient equipment or vehicles.
This Conference frames in
the BEHAVE project, financed by the Intelligent Energy for Europe Program of
the European Commission, whose purpose is to encourage the change of citizens
habits referring to the energy use, essentially in the building sector and
domestic equipment market.
