The Council of Economy and Tresury, through its Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines and the Energy Agency of the Regional Government of Madrid (Fenercom), with the collaboration of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDEA), the Spanish Cogeneration Association (Acogen) and the magazine El Instalador, organizes GENEDIS, the first edition of the Distributed Generation Congress, to be held on November 24-25 2009 in Madrid (Municipal Palace of Congresses).
According to the events press release, the first edition of GENEDIS aims to be a distributed generation reflection and exhibition forum, reviewing its different technologies, related applications and systems, factors that influence its development and its possible future tendencies. In addition, it will also be a place to learn about experiences already developed in other European countries, in order to help to implement a developed distributed energy market.
The first edition of GENEDIS will focus on several subjects, which include cogeneration and micro cogeneration, waste management, integration renewable energies in buildings, energy storage systems and fuel batteries, among others. |
