Can you tell us about Eliwell’s history, when the company was created and what lead to its creation?

 

Eliwell has operated in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning market for more than 25 years and offers products, control systems and high level quality and technology services for refrigeration units. Eliwell belongs since 1996 to Invensys Group, which operates in over 60 Countries in the World, sharing the same mission and the values.

With its Research & Development laboratory, representing an excellence centre inside Invensys Controls Europe, Eliwell has a front-line role in the development of dedicated solutions for the air conditioning and refrigeration market.

 

Special care is given to one of the “hottest” issues which nowadays drive the technology evolution, i.e. reduction of CO2 emissions, by developing new ranges of industrial controllers aimed to support the market in reaching this vital goal.

Refrigeration is evolving into eco friendly and energy saving applications driving the introduction of new refrigerants for small applications and providing new materials and solution in order to exploit the great potential of the CO2.

 

The focus for all the HVAC is moving from appliances control to integrated systems that can provide superior energy saving and ease of use.

Leveraging on the acquired knowledge on programmable platforms, being the first to introduce standard IEC 61131 programming languages as a standard in the HVACR business, Eliwell will continue to deliver products and solutions to enhance flexibility and shorter time to market.

 

Upcoming products and systems will be driven by the capacity to reduce CO2 emission and to simplify installation and maintenance with specific solutions for OEMs and the distribution network.
