 PlantVisorPRO is one of the most advanced monitoring, controlling and supervisory systems on the market, says Carel in a press release. It is the latest generation of Carel supervisors: powerful, easy to use and highly customisable, it is perfect for any kind of refrigeration and air-conditioning system, small installations or large supermarkets, the company adds.
PlantVisorPRO uses the latest technology tied to the world of “Internet” which guarantees access to the system from any workstation (with maximum security) running a browser (even on “restricted” workstations such as Internet points, airports etc.) while the Windows XP or Linux (on request) operating system makes it possible to install and use a high number of peripherals (modems, printers, ADSL modems, GSM modems, touch screen displays, etc.) guaranteeing efficiency and security. Just like a server, it transmits information to one or more external clients in the same way as a normal Internet Web server as long as the user’s PC has an Internet Browser such as Microsoft Explorer (no additional installation on the access clients is required).
PlantVisorPRO reads, saves and controls all the information from the instruments connected to the network (in RS485 serial or wireless – with Modbus or CAREL communication protocols) even from multiple sites. The data is stored in a database to increase the reliability of the system, security and integrity of the data.
