Climatización 2007 announces the Innovation Gallery's products PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 16 January 2007
climatizacionFor the third edition in a row, Climatización 2007, which will be held in Madrid (Spain) from the 28th of February to the 3rd of March, will feature the Innovation Gallery: a specific section within the show where the most innovative products will be displayed, as chosen by a selection committee made up of industry professionals, and presented and marketed by participating companies. According to a press release from the event's organisers, the purpose of the Innovation Gallery is to boost the product’s originality and to reveal the practical implementation of new knowledge and technologies, as well as divulge the most relevant breakthroughs. This initiative also has a mutual benefit, as all income generated from the entry of products into this gallery will finance development programmes sponsored by the “Engineering Without Borders” NGO.

For this particular edition, 9 products have been selected, 5 of which belong to the Air-Conditioning sector; 2 to the Heating; 1 to Refrigeration and 1 to Regulation, Control and Centralized Management.

Air Conditioning:
AIRZONE will present the WIRELESS MOTORIZED GRILLE, a battery-powered device which allows it to work without being connected to the mains. It includes an advanced supply management system for both motor movement and wireless communications in zoned air-conditioning systems.
CIATESA’s main product will be SPACE PF an air-air heat pump with active recovery of extracted air by means of a cooling circuit which ensures a remarkable increase in energy efficiency as it does not depend on outside climatic conditions. The equipment’s overall efficiency has improved by more than 40% and obtained an energy efficiency rating of more than 5. In addition, this recovery circuit adapts, in terms of thermal capacity, to the level of air renewal needed according to the level of occupation at that particular moment.
CLIMA ROCA YORK / JOHNSON CONTROLS will display its new SYMPONY water cooler model which includes screw compressors driven by Inverter technology motors for air-conditioning installations and industrial processes requiring cool water.
KOOLAIR S.A. will participate with the DF-49-TR diffuser which incorporates a thermal component that, through the impulsion-air temperature, brings about a variation in the diffuser’s angle of inclination with no need for manual or motorised intervention. In this way, it avoids stratification and controls the speed of the air in the occupied area.
SANYO AIRE ACONDICIONADO DE ESPAÑA will present the VIRUS WASHER device which renders inactive 99% of the air’s viruses and fungi thanks to the hypochlorous acid produced by chlorinated water.

Heating:
DAIKIN AC SPAIN's entry will be its SISTEMA ALTHERMA which can incorporate heating, air-conditioning and sanitary hot water into a single system. Daikin technology includes swing compressor, inversion regulation, floating-point technology, quiet night operation mode, weekly programmer and legionella controller.
GIACOMINI’s contribution to the gallery will consist in its R557R pre-assembled and pre-wired collector for mixed installations made up of radiant floor heating and radiators, providing great comfort and energy saving.

Refrigeration:
DANFOSS SA created the ICF FLEXIBLE VALVE, which replaces other valves such as the manual, solenoid, regulation, motorized, etc. with a compact block. It incorporates several functions into the same component and is compact and easy to assemble, as it reduces the amount of welding required for the components.

Regulation, Control and Centralized Technical Management:

SIEMENS, S.A. (BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES DIVISION) will present SYNCO LIVING the new home-electronics automation systemfor air-conditioning, especially suitable for residential housing. It is based completely on wireless communication via radio according to the KNX protocol, which includes housing ancillary technologies such as lighting, blinds, smoke detectors, window contact points, etc.
