According to recent data released by IDAE (the Spanish Institute for the Diversification and Energy Savings), Spanish homes are consuming more energy, but more importante 10% of this energy is wasted, reports "Clima Notícias". Each home spends 700 Euro per year in energy (10% of all the family's expenses), above all in heating (46%), hot water (20%) and in the use of different electrical appliances.
The country's energy efficiency is 6,12 in 10, meaning that every year there are energy losses of 700 million Euro.
To improve this situation, manufacturers are looking for new systems and solutions capable of offering a better performance and compatibility with the environment.
Moreover, with the recent approval of CTE (Technical Building Regulation) and the upcoming approval of RITE (Regulation of the Building's Thermal Installations), the market will respond to these new demands with the installation of individual thermostats, water temperature control systems and solar panels. A good example of the recent market's innovations is the use of heating systems of medium and low temperatures to warm the houses, like the Inverter heat pump technology. |
