The Lifebreath ‘Smart’ ControlAir-15 Electronics has two new features, making it the best way to operate a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) or an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV), informs Nutech Brands Inc. in a press release.
This compact control now has five speeds and four operating modes. The recent addition of a fourth operating mode ‘20-Minutes of ventilation with 40-Minutes of recirculation’ and an ‘Auto Dehumidistat’ function will give more ventilation options enabling the user to breathe better and to live better.
 In the past, the homeowner had to turn the dehumidistat OFF in the summer months. Now, the HRV will automatically turn OFF the dehumidistat when it is no longer required. It does this by automatically sensing the outdoor temperature and switching the dehumidistat OFF when the temperature reaches 59ºF (15ºC). During the heating season, the HRV will turn the dehumidistat ON, increasing ventilation until the house humidity is at a comfortable level.
Modes of Operation:
- Continuous Ventilation
The HRV will operate at any of the 5 selected speeds of ventilation.
- 20-Minutes ON/ 40-Minutes OFF
The HRV will operate in ventilation mode for 20-minutes and will turn OFF for 40-minutes.
- Continuous Recirculation
The HRV will operate in recirculation mode at any of the 5 selected speeds.
- NEW 20-Minutes Ventilation / 40-Minutes Recirculation
The HRV will operate in ventilation mode for 20-minutes and will operate in recirculation mode for 40-minutes. This mode is a great option when intermittent ventilation is needed. Instead of turning off the HRV, fresh air will continue to circulate throughout the home.
