Toshiba presents new room air conditioners for 2007 |

Toshiba Carrier has announced recently new models of room air conditioners (RACs) for 2007, reports "JARN" magazine. 13 new models in the "Daiseikai" SDR series (2.2 to 7.1 kW) were released from the 1st of December, including the RAS-402SDR which incorporates the world's first "4 cleaning functions".
 "Our new models commemorate the first release of the «Daiseikai» series made ten years ago. We have continued to improve this series with emphasis on «significant energy savings, clean air and comfortable air conditioning» as the basic concepts. The latest models have become the consummation of our past efforts", affirmed Toshiro Nigo, President and CEO of Toshiba Carrier Corp.
The new products feature powerful cleaning to cope with stains that can come from the deterioration of filter performance through insufficient periodical maintenance (which results in an increase in electric power consumption). The inside of the unit can be kept clean for a long time with the automatic cleaning of the three major components: filter, heat exchanger and an air blowing fan. |
