Chillventa 2008, supported by a broad coalition of industry, wholesale trade, craft trade, associations and training institutions, announced that on the 4^th of December 384 registered companies and organizations had already booked 80% of the planned net display area of 30,000 m² on December 4th.

European exhibition experts think such a result ten months before the start of Chillventa 2008 can only be regarded as an outstanding commitment to the new exhibition concept. Chillventa is the only refrigeration and air conditioning exhibition in Germany that offers a constantly updated list of exhibitors, available at www.chillventa.de/exhibitors. The large majority of the leading manufacturers in the exhibition’s core segments are already present: refrigeration compressors (95%), heat exchangers (80%) and air conditioners (80%). All the established German refrigeration and air conditioning wholesale trade has decided in favour of Chillventa. The many honorary sponsoring organizations of Chillventa are arranging an attractive and ambitious programme of conferences and supporting events.

The 21-person exhibition committee, which is committed exclusively to Chillventa and represents the refrigeration and air conditioning industry to a breadth and depth never experienced before, met for its third working session at the end of November. According to the organizers press release, the committee also gave the go-ahead for the extensive visitor acquisition measures starting in Germany, Europe and worldwide in January 2008.
