Recently, CONAIF hosted a press conference at its headquarters to condemn an increase of late payments and lack of financing. The meeting was organized by CONAIF, Amascal, Fenie and Adime, associations of installers and distributors of the HVAC and electric industries. All together they gather 35,000 Spanish SMEs.

José María de la Fuente, President of CONAIF, has condemned its associates’ defenselessness due to the growth of “late and default payments”. De la Fuente has also alerted on “credit restriction and lack of financing” suffered by the SMEs, which “feel unprotected” before this new situation. CONAIF’s President has directly designated politicians and banks as the cause of the “subsistency problem” faced by small and medium sized companies, reveals the association’s press release.
