Experts debate the future of refrigeration and air conditioning industry |

The
Sustainable Innovation in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (SIRAC)
network will stage the high-profile event where the future of RAC will be the theme
focus, at the London Chamber of Commerce, EC4, on 5 February 2009.
According to the organizations website, at this
event, SIRAC will hear from leading voices who are looking to the future as it
will affect the refrigeration industry, pointing out the impact of social,
economic, environmental and technological fields on the change of the way
cooling will be supplied in the future.
The panel of industry experts
will be chaired by Baroness Perry of Southwark, a member of the House of Lords Select Committee on Science and
Technology and past chair of the Energy Efficiency Sub group.
The Greater London Authority (GLA), which is developing a sustainable strategic
future for the Capital through the London Energy Partnership, will also make a
speech on the UK strategic policy to mitigate climate change which includes
setting challenging targets for the built environment and engaging in
innovative collaborative partnerships.
