CIAT, one of the European leaders in centralized air conditioning, air handling and heat exchange, and also the leading French heat pump manufacturer, recently announced the introduction of the new Major Line, a new range of comfort units that provides cooling capacity from 700 W to 9 kW according to Eurovent ratings. Its energy consumption is on average 20% lower than that of previous-generation models.
According to CIAT, Major Line uses HEE (High Energy Efficiency) turbines, a CIAT technology. For still further performance improvement, the units can be fitted on option with brushless HEE motors, 85% more economical. The motors are thus more efficient, generate less noise and have longer lifetimes. In addition, noise has been reduced by 1 to 3 dB with the new scroll and turbine geometries and through the use of more absorbent materials such as ABS and EPS.
The new Major Line range is suitable both for new buildings with low energy requirements and in geographical areas demanding high capacity. The range includes a dozen Major Line sizes, each available in four basic assembly configurations. They do not need dedicated instrumentation and control, as they are all compatible with CIAT control systems. |
