Burj Khalifa is the tallest building of the world located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With a staggering 160 floors, reaching up till 828 metres high, this building is the most famous eye catcher.

Burj Khalifa is not a single skyscraper:  it is one of a total of 11 projects built in ‘Downtown Dubai’. Among them are hotels, an island, residential & office buildings and a shopping boulevard. The construction of these projects started back in 2004 and some of the buildings are yet to be completed. The project is a declaration of the emirate's capabilities and of the resolve of its leaders and people to work hand in hand on truly awe-inspiring projects.

Danfoss’ sales team responsible for Dubai convinced the contractor to use AB-QM pressure independent balancing and control valves. Mainly because of their fast installation and commissioning time, quick payback time and the insurance of the best possible comfort in the building. The energy savings were also a huge advantage since the United Arab Emirates government is increasingly supporting energy saving in any case. So far the immense building has been supplied with 762 AB-QM’s and matching AME actuators.
