Multifrio, a costarrican company dedicated to air conditioning systems design, engineering, installation and maintenance, has won the most important award of the Latin American Forum 2007, recently hosted by LG Electronics at Ciudad de Panama. The award was presented by Kyoung Hoon Byun, President of LG Electronics Panamá, and Inn Ku Hur, Vice President of LG Electronics’ Air Conditioners Division .

According to ACR Latinoamérica, this award recognizes Multifrio’s work in developing the best 2007 commercial air conditioning systems in all of Latin America. The company has commissioned projects that use such technologies as inverter type, multicompresors and refrigerant variable volume. These advanced technology systems in Asia (Japan and Korea) include intelligent control systems, power savings, space and aesthetics optimization, error self-diagnose, individual control of each installed unit, air quality and ultra low noise.

The alliance with LG Electronics has allowed Multifrio, with 10 years experience and more than 17,000 commissioned projects (No.1 costarrican company for the last 5 years), to incorporate advanced aesthetic design multicompressors such as Art Cool and more flexibility, besides anti-corrosion treatments and plasma air filters. Among its plans is the development of high technology products in Latin America.
