RSES, a leading education, training
and certification association for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and
refrigeration professionals, is offering its brand new 165-page book titled Safety
for the HVACR Service Technician to address the increasingly important need to
keep heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration technicians safe
in the field.
The new safety manual
addresses common safety issues HVACR technicians encounter in the field, such
as electrical safety, tools and instruments, refrigerant handling, ladders,
lifting and more, reveals the organizations press release. Safety for the
HVACR Service Technician provides HVACR contractors, technicians, instructors
and students with a single source for the many safety materials RSES has
developed specifically for the HVACR service technician. The safety manual was created by RSES highly
respected Education and Examining Board during the past several months, and is
packed with safety facts, guidelines and recommendations.
Safety has
always been an integral part of RSES training, however, it has typically been
offered in small specific segments relating directly to the course or topic
being taught. Now, with the release of
this new publication safety issues pertaining to various aspects of the
industry are covered in one manual, says RSES Educational and Examining Board
Chairman, Roger M. Hensley, CMS.
