Following
a review of its business operations Tricool
Engineering has separated the sales
forces for its cooling and heating divisions to provide a stronger focus in the
their respective marketplaces. According to the companys press release, Tricool
is confident that the change in focus will give customers a better service and
faster turnaround of supply from its 70-strong manufacturing plant in Fareham, Hampshire.
Martin
Storey takes up the post of Operations Director whilst Dave Palmer has been
promoted to the role of European Process Temperature Control Director. Under
his guidance products have been rationalised, manufacturing streamlined to
operate more responsively and the sales force will be targeting markets sector
by sector. Over the next six months Tricool will be increasing the number of
its sales engineers throughout the UK
and Europe. Rationalising the product ranges
enables us to provide a better service that includes stocking kit across all
ranges for next day delivery, says Dave Palmer.
Plans
are well underway to introduce new products, increase capacities and offer
heaters up to 96kw with for electric applications and up to a megawatt using
gas to take advantage of those processes that require greater capacities. All
areas of the business are benefiting from the review and thanks to support from
Tricools parent company, ICS Cool Energy, Tricool will be launching a rental
service towards the end of this year. By adopting Cool Energys successful
rental formula in the chiller market, Tricool will offer temperature control
products on short or fixed terms contracts. All the contracts will be backed-up
with full servicing and warranties and will offer an attractive package for
customers not wanting the hassle of ownership or requiring units for short
needs such as R&D.
