VKR Holding is now expanding its business area for Natural Ventilation through the acquisition of Monodraught Ltd, reveals the company’s press release. It markets the Windcatcher ventilation system and the SunPipe daylighting system, and is the leader on the UK market for Natural Ventilation.

“We believe that Natural Ventilation will become increasingly important in future building design. The systems are based on natural ventilation channels such as windows and vents in the façade and roof. By use of intelligent control Natural Ventilation has evolved into a strong alternative to traditional air conditioning and mechanical ventilation,” comments Leif Jensen, CEO of VKR Holding.

He continues: “WindowMaster, which is also owned by VKR Holding, has been a pioneer on the Northern European market for Natural Ventilation, and with the acquisition of Monodraught, we will be able to offer an even broader and more competitive product range.”
