ANAM, the AIISA NADCA
Annual Meeting, was recently announced. This new event, organized by
the Italian Association of HVAC Systems Hygienists (AIISA) and the USAs National Air
Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), is scheduled
to take place on October 22nd - 25th, 2008, in Rome, Italy, and will include the
forth session of Italian ASCS examinations, the ordinary AIISA meeting for
members only and a Scientific Session open to the HVAC systems cleaning and
sanification sector.
The preliminary scientific program features the relation between IAQ and proper
HVAC system maintenance, contamination risks, european regulation in the
engineering of HVAC systems, analysis of the most recent studies relevant to
control of biological contamination, the professional use of the various types
of sanification products, the relation between IAQ and energy saving, containment
procedures during cleaning activities, and Italian law update.
During the Meeting all the attendees will be able to participate in seminars
dedicated to ASCS Continuing Education Program. All speakers will belong to
Universities, to Italian National Institutes committed with the safety of the work
place, and to the duct cleaning business and industry world. Beside the Meeting,
AIISA will host a Trade Exposition open to the Cleaning and Restoration Industry.
It will be the first Exposition
dedicated to this field of professional activities. More than 250 professional
