A
landmark order for Fläkt Woods energy
efficient ECONET system from the Technopolis Group of Finland means Fläkt Woods
has now sold over 1000 of their ECONET systems worldwide. It is an amazing
achievement since the introduction of the system in year 2000.
 Technopolis is Finland's largest company
specialising in providing unrivalled operating environments for high tech
companies. The science park at Oulu
is a unique cluster of some two hundred companies working closely
together. For Technopolis to invest in ECONET is another vote of confidence in
a system that has set new global standards on energy efficiency, leading the
HVAC market and winning awards for innovation and effectiveness. The ECONET
system installed at Technopolis by contractors Putkijohtoliike Pelkonen &
Viitala Oy is a system tailor made for Fläkt Woods modular air handling units.
The major advantage of ECONET is its ability to cost effectively utilise both
heating and cooling water when treating air. Additionally, the heat recovery
efficiency is improved by approximately 15% compared to traditional run around
coils, reveals the companys press release.
Commenting on its success, Peter Sundelin, Product Manager ECONET, said: Our
operations are based on strong technical know-how, an innovative and
high-quality product and definite reliability, which are properties that
guarantee satisfied customers. The accomplishment is also due in no small part
to the foresight of HVAC designers in Finland who have come to appreciate
the environmental and economic advantages of the ECONET system. Remarking on ECONET,
Lauri Hautajärvi from Pöyry Building Services Oy, one of Finland's
leading and most experienced building engineering companies, said: The ECONET
system system appeals to us because is well suited to almost any type of
building. |
