Business Edge, the specialist training and Technology Company, is establishing a new training centre to cope with demand for F-Gas compliance training and certification in a newly equipped facility at East Devon College, Tiverton. The next F-Gas courses will take place from 12-14 August in Portsmouth.

“The recent announcement by the government that REFCOM is to be the administration body for companies under F-Gas legislation has highlighted the need for action. The race is now on to get engineers qualified, and we have already geared up to meet the need,” said Mike Creamer, managing director of Business Edge.

The company uses specially designed F-Gas training rigs, produced in collaboration with Bitzer, which enable the principles to be explained in practice, and allow trainers to set up fault conditions that candidates are asked to detect and rectify.
