Hydro, the leading integrated aluminium company in Europe, announced the opening of a service center for customers in HVAC&R applications (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigerating) next August. Based in Hannover, the center particularly aims at providing customers in demand of smaller batches with a one-stop source for all aluminium semis, technologically aligned to their systems.

As a supplier of aluminium solutions to HVAC&R systems, the future, according to Hydro, will belong to brazed all-aluminium systems, enabling for smarter energy-saving. “We know our metal from the raw material onto a wide range of applications, and offer a one-stop shop with all semi-finished aluminium parts to the systems that our customers assemble, tailored to customer needs,” says Pascal Wagner, Head of the Business Unit Automotive, Heat Exchanger & General Engineering in Hydro.
