Rheem Canada, a division of Rheem Manufacturing Company and a manufacturer of high-quality residential and commercial heating and cooling products, recently consolidated the physical operations of its three business units – Heating and Cooling, Water Heating, and Swimming Pool Heaters and Boilers marketed under the Rheem, Ruud, Raypak and WeatherKing labels – into a single headquarters and distribution center in Brampton, Ontario. The relocation to the new 220,000-square-foot, two-story facility in the Churchill Business Park is designed to enhance service and efficiency.

According to Rheem Canada Market Manager Paul Gharghoury, the restructuring will set the stage for an enlargement of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit, hiring new employees and stimulating the local job market. “Now, one well-stocked, highly efficient distribution center meets every need with the full suite of Rheem comfort products for Canada’s homes and businesses,” said Gharghoury.

Besides having more space for office and warehousing operations, the new building will also feature a 10,000-square-foot training facility. Designed for use by virtually the entire supply chain — wholesalers, contractors, builders and engineers — the facility will include a 60-person training room, a showroom to display current products and an engineering lab for hands-on product training and testing.
