Each year the editorial staff at Buildings Magazine combs through thousands of new products to come up with the 100 most innovative picks of the year, and the Steril-Aire UVC Kit for Unitary Air Conditioners is among the 2009 winners. This award marks the fourth time a Steril-Aire product has been a Buildings Top 100 winner.

As reported in Buildings, “The UVC Kit for Unitary Air Conditioners keeps coils constantly clean by delivering a high-output germicidal energy to eliminate biofilm, mold, and airborne microbial contaminants.”  The editors chose the product because “the germicidal cleaning energy eliminates musty odours and IAQ problems while reducing utility and maintenance bills.”
