Lennox International Inc. announced the appointment of James Borzi as vice president, operations, effective June 29, 2010. Borzi succeeds Michael Blatz, who recently was named president and chief operating officer of LII's Service Experts business segment.

Borzi most recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Operations, for AEES, Inc., a Platinum Equity company. Previously, Borzi served as Senior Vice President, Operations, Americas for the Electrical and Electronic Solutions division of Alcoa, Inc. Prior to joining Alcoa, Borzi spent 21 years at General Motors Corporation and Delphi Corporation, holding senior leadership positions in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and general management.

"Jim is a global operations leader with deep manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics experience," said Todd Bluedorn, LII chief executive officer.
