NewAge IndustriesFor the second consecutive year NewAge Industries announces its selection as a finalist in the Top Small Company Workplaces competition sponsored by Inc. magazine and Winning Workplaces™, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting small businesses. NewAge Industries was one of 40 finalist companies chosen from over 500 entrants.

The Top Small Company Workplaces competition is open to companies that meet specific criteria, such as having 500 or fewer employees, being independent (not a unit of a larger corporation), and being in business at least five years. A detailed application must be submitted, and a national panel of experts in leadership and small to mid-sized business then selects finalists. Customers and employees of the finalists are interviewed for further insight into each company under consideration.

This year’s panel noted “NewAge Industries has lived up to its name by reinventing itself from a distributor of plastic tubing to a manufacturer, to a premier provider of disposable pharmaceutical processing systems. Since its founding in 1954, this family-owned business has steadily followed its core values focusing upon customer appreciation, high ethical standards and sharing the wealth with employees. This formula has paid off. Today, NewAge is a modern lean operation with a tenured workforce known for its innovation, commitment and agility. This firm has consistently been profitable throughout its 56-year history with its share price steadily increasing”.
