Organized by Centro Studi Galileo (CSG), the Indian association TERRE and the Associazione Tecnici Italiani del Freddo, in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), the 14th biennial European conference “Getting Ready for Renewable Energy - Green New Deal” will take place in both Italy and the UK.

The first sitting will take place on the 21st January 2011 in Edinburgh, Scotland with the outcomes being carried forward to the second on the 10th and 11th of June 2011 in Milan.

“Getting Ready for Renewable Energy - Green New Deal”, is an important international conference that will put into practice the aims of the GND, exploring the opportunities for partnership between Europe and the expanding field of renewable energies and providing real tangible solutions to the environmental challenges being faced in Europe and throughout the rest of the world.
