Two new BigEZ Dye Injection Kits from Spectronics Corporation allow technicians to add the precise amount of fluorescent dye into AC&R systems without wasting a drop of dye. Each kit features the BEZ-50 dye injector assembly, one BigEZ dye cartridge, an A/C hose/coupler with check valve and ¼" flare low-loss fitting, and a purge fitting. Both BigEZ kits come in handy clamshell packages.
The BigEZ dye injector is easy to use because it requires only one connection to add dye into an AC&R system. The dye cartridge is precision calibrated for accurate dosing, so there are no messy spills or wasted dye. Each 4-oz cartridge contains enough AR-GLO® fluorescent dye to treat up to 16 gallons (60.8 L) of lubricant, approximately 400 lbs. (180 kg) of refrigerant or 150 tons of cooling.
AR-GLO fluorescent dye is extremely concentrated, super bright and co-solvent free. It makes even the smallest refrigerant leaks glow brightly when scanned with a high-intensity Spectroline® inspection lamp. As a result, technicians can see each and every leak the first time they inspect a system, which saves considerable time and labor.
The BEZ-400/ECS kit contains one universal/POE dye cartridge for all AC&R systems, while the BEZ-400CS kit has one dye cartridge for mineral oil lubricant systems.
