Apuro, a division of the Cranham
Group, an ISO 9001:2000 accredited company and one of the UK's foremost
importers and distributors of commercial appliances for the catering and
hospitality industry, has recently expanded its range of compact Ital blast
chillers.
Blast chillers are an essential piece of equipment for any kitchen that
relies on pre-cooked, chilled food. They allow fresh food to be prepared in
advance without compromising the freshness and taste. But conventional blast
chillers tend to be a bit big and expensive. To bring them within the reach of
smaller catering establishments Apuro adds four new models to the Ital range,
with capacities ranging from an ultra-compact 29 litre model to the
largest 282 litre
model. According to the companys press release, all have stainless steel
construction and easy to use controls. Food can be blast chilled to +3 degrees
C in 90 minutes and shock frozen to -18 degrees C in 240 minutes.
The Lampo model measures just 400x620x600mm (small enough to fit under a
counter), therefore being suitable for kitchens with limited space and limited
budgets. The Cervino 5, Cervino 10 and Cervino 14 have capacities of 92 litres, 206 litres and 282 litres, and space
for five, ten and fourteen shelve, respectively. All are supplied with a full
one-year warranty. |
