Thermokon, a
company that offers solutions for the air-conditioning and building control
technology, has recently presented the new EasySens LON Receivers SRC04-FTT and
SRC65-FTT.
According to the companys press release, the new
wireless LON receivers are equipped by a Neuron processor type FT3150 with
external memory chip disposing of considerably more memory location for
the application programmes compared to the FT3120. Depending on the
installation requirements it can be selected between two different designs. Type
SRC04-FTT (in the room sensor enclosure) with hard-wired external antenna is
recommended for wall mounting. For installation in an intermediate ceiling the
receiver SRC65-FTT (in the IP-65 enclosure) is available. The antenna is mounted at a place
with good receiving conditions and is connected to the receiver via the 2,5 m long connecting cable
with FME-connector.
Due to the fact, that both types are using the same software application, the
behaviour and integration into the network is the same. The user can make
advantage of predefined sensor objects to which battery- and wireless sensors
or switches can be allocated individually. The wireless
telegrams received are transmitted via standard network variables to
controllers, control systems or switch actuators. In each sensor object the
SNVT types can be individually adjusted with two of the output variables and
can thus be adapted to different physical measured quantities. The allocation
of the sensors to the individual output variables is made like the installation
of LON devices. Each sensor or switch transmits a clear identification number
in its wireless telegram. This
ID can either be directly entered into the associated configuration property or
it can be automatically saved by actuating the learn button at the sensor.
