Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles was present in another edition of Alimentaria, the International Food Exhibition, which took place from the 27th to the 30th of May in FIL, Lisbon.

According to the company’s press release, this year Volkswagen’s stand presented the new Cool Van refrigeration range, available for 0ºC or –20ºC. This model was developed in partnership with Ecovei and offers a premolded interior with non-skid floor, as well as the choice between cold or frozen food transport. Both Caddy and Transporter/Crafter were on display at Alimentaria in Cool Van versions and its commercialization began immediately after the fair.

The Cool Profi range, which was also on display at the stand in a Caddy TDI 105 cv, was developed in conjunction with Kerstner. It offers a premolded interior with aluminium floor and an electrical refrigeration motor, allowing for a simultaneous original installation with air conditioning.

Finally, Volkswagen’s stand also presented the Crafter Chassis Cab with closed cold room, ideal for those who need more space.  With 2.5 TDI - 164 cv, this is the ideal vehicle for those who need to transport heavy loads at –20ºC.
